Happy New Years!

Yesterday, it dawned on me that 2010 was coming to a close and a New Year's polymer clay contest was fast approaching. I set to work on a special little guy to help ring in the new year. Unfortunately, I can't post pictures of it until the contest has concluded :( I have been taking pictures of the work in progress so I can show you how it was made...eventually...hehe.

Later today when my little one is taking her nap, I hope to buckle down and do the patina painting and sealing of the Easter bunnies and some other items that I've put aside. I really don't enjoy this part but it has to be done :) Will post pictures of the finished items soon.

They Live!

In the pan, covered in fiberfill.

They made it! By made it, I mean that I didn't drop them, bump them, or knock'em over!

Bunny #1 is a handsome, blue little bunny holding a hand-stamped Happy Easter sign.

Bunny #2 is a little camera shy...notice his deer-in-the-headlights look in his eyes? Though he does love to show off his hand-stamped "Color Your World" Easter egg.

Starting on Easter Critters

I've been busy lately working on Easter critters. Weird little bunnies. I've only just begun, but I have a pink little guy w/ a colorful egg and another blue bunny holding an Easter sign in the oven. I can't wait to open up the door to see if they survived the baking experience. I'll post pictures of the before & after of the painting & sealing process. I'm new to this blog business, so bear with me as I play around with it. Feel free to offer advice and compliments :)
